WELCOME TO
OUR CITY!
Historic capital of the Giudicato of Arborea, Oristano
it is today appreciated for the presence, in its territory, of important historical-archaeological remains, for the nearby beaches and for the gastronomic delicacies, as well as for the hospitality of its citizens.
The tower from the Judicial era is still present
of Mariano IV, the eastern one and some sections of the walls.

In the past Oristano was home to a population of nuns, canons, priests, friars, seminarians and missionaries, so there is an abundance of churches and convents of fine architecture, such as the cathedral portrayed here in a vintage postcard.
